Barcelona are preparing a fresh move for Inter Milan striker, Lautaro Martinez this summer. The club have made the striker their number one priority as they look to replace club legend, Luiz Suarez. However Inter Milan has made it known that they are not willing to negotiate and that the Argentine will only be allowed to leave if his release clause of 111m euro is triggered.
Barcelona have now prepared a fresh bid to get their target this summer as they are willing to offer 70m euro cash plus two of their current players, Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo as options in a deal to sign the striker.
Last month, multiple media outlets in Italy reported that Inter Milan’s head coach, Antonio Conte said to the club owners that he will only accept Barcelona’s forward, Antoine Greizmann as a player to trade with Barcelona for Martinez if the club fails to meet up with his release clause. But the Catalan club have no intention of letting the French striker leave so soon, despite his poor form. Ivan Rakitic is also likely to enter the deal as an option to land the 22-year old striker.
However Martinez has express his delight to be linked with Barcelona and he has stated that he wish to play with Lionel Messi in club level. Lionel Messi also said in an interview that he hopes the club sign Martinez and former teammate, Neymar this summer.
